She passed away the night of December 2nd after a long fight with ALS. She will truly be missed.<\/p>\n<p>Our producer Darcy found an old episode of the TVA podcast with Jo-Anna on it, which you can find <a href=\"http:\/\/heyitstva.com\/episode-119-jo-anna-downey\/\" target=\"_blank\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In going through the old files, I came across her second appearance on the show and thought I should bring it out to you all to remember and enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>Erratum: In the intro I got my nights mixed up and thought that this was a night she was performing at my comedy show that followed. She was in fact going to Ajax.
